  • Do you do Pick ups and do delivery?
    Yes delivery and pick up are £2.50 each way from Ellesmere Port. Delivery/pickup to Wirral and Chester is £5.00 each way. You can drop off to us for free.
  • How will you store my photos?
    We save your photos to USB or CD.
  • Do you keep a copy of my photos?
    We will store your photos for 30 days and then they will be deleted.
  • What is the best way to get my photos ready to scan?
    Photos should be provided for scanning loose (out of albums) or there is an additional album fee (of £7.50 for an album with up to 50 photos and £15.00 for an album which has between 50 and up to 100 photos). This extra fee is due to the considerable extra time and effort required to remove them and replace them back into albums. Photos shouldn't be laminated and photos should be free of sticky tape and structurally sound enough to scan.
  • Can I have my photos scanned directly from an album?
    Yes, but there is an additional album scanning fee (of £7.50 for an album with up to 50 photos and £15.00 for an album which has between 50 and up to 100 photos). This extra fee is due to the considerable extra time and effort required to remove them and replace them back into albums. Every effort will be made to place the photos back into the album in the same order but this cannot always be guarenteed. If the album uses small stickies to secure the photos, these tend to loose their stickiness once removed. So photos will be placed back in the album with one stickie. Ready for you to fix as you like at home.
  • Do you do gift vouchers?
    Yes, Gift vouchers can be paid for via cash (in person) or via BAC's. The gift vouchers can then be emailed to you (to forward or print) or posted for free.
  • Will my photos be returned to me in the same condition?
    Great care and attention will be given to your photos (we will treat them as if they are our own. But this cannot always be guaranteed.

  • What condition should my photos be in for scanning?
    Photos should be loose out of albums (or see prices for aditional album fees). Photos should be free of sticky tape and not laminated. Photos should not be very damaged/ripped.
  • How can I pay?
    Payment can be made in Cash or via BAC's.
  • Can I drop off and pick up the photos myself?
    Yes of course.
  • Where do you pick up/deliver to?
    Ellesmere Port = £2.50 each way. Chester and the Wirral is £5 each way.
  • My photos are old and falling appart can you still scan them?
    We are happy to try and scan your photos and will do everything in our power to scan them and get them back to you in the same condition. But it is up to you if you wish to take this risk. However, ideally if your photos are very damaged/ripped we would prefare not to scan these photos for you.
  • Do you offer a national service?
    No. We are a local business that services Chester, Wirral and Ellesmere Port.
  • Can I post our photos to you?
    Currently we only offer a local service to Wirral, Ellesmere Port and Chester.
  • I don't live on the Wirral will you scan my photos?
    We offer delivery/pick ups in Ellesmere Port, Chester and on the Wirral only. Outside this area it is pickup/drop off only by you to Ellesmere Port.
  • Can I buy extra copies of USB's?
    Yes, of course. It is recommended that you back them up again when you get home or ask us to do backups. As USB's need to be cared for (just like the original photos) to keep them safe. For the price of extra copies please see our prices page.
  • How should I care for my USB of photos?
    A few tips to help your USB last as long as possible: Attach to a (lightweight) keyring to stop it getting lost. Don’t weigh down your USB (With too many keyrings/charms). Protect in the same way you may protect a camera film. Don’t put them in shirt or trouser pockets – heat from body can create moisture and cause corrosion and damage to electric components. (Not to mention bits of fluff in pocket etc). Always safely remove USB’S (Mac – Eject /Windows – Safely remove) to Prevent loss of data. Avoid plugging it into the computer indefinitely - easy to get bumped or a surge of power can cause it malfunction. Don’t get it wet. Always have backups/ an extra copy (don't keep them in the same place).
  • How do I care for my CD of photos?
    To help your CD last as long as possible: Keep the discs clean & dust free. Store in the case correctly. Don touch or write on the date area of the disk. Bend the disc. Have copies (don't keep the copies in the same place).
  • What will it cost to scan my photos?
    Prices vary. For costs and services please see our prices page.
  • My photo album is very old can you guarantee the book and the photos will return in the same condition?
    Every effort and care will be taken, but this can not always be guaranteed. Unfortunetly with photo albums, photos can be very difficult to remove even more so if the photos have been secured with little stickies. We are happy to be as gentle as possible, but it is a risk when dealing with photographs in albums or photos in poor condition. We would prefare not to scan photos in very poor condition.
  • Do you offer any services other than photo scanning?
    We offer a Senior, Adult and small business computer help and support service on the wirral. For further services, please watch this space.
  • Do you restore photos?
    No. we scan, rotate and save.
  • What is included?
    We scan, rotate and save your photos. Please see our price list for more information.
  • Can I order extra copies for gifts
    Yes, we also recomend you make extra copies for yourself. To help the longevity of the life of your photos.
  • What DPI do you scan the photos at?
    Images are scanned at 300 dpi.
  • Do you offer any discounts
    Discounts for orders of 1500 photos or more: Free Pick up/Drop off (anywhere on the Wirral). Free USB x 1. ​
  • Why should I scan my photos?

  • What is not included?
    We only Scan, rotate and save your images to the storage of your choice (USB or CD). You can also add additional services such as Delivery. Please see our prices page.
  • Do you do gift vouchers?
    Yes, although scanned photos and extra copies make great gifts. You can also buy vouchers and have them emailed or posted (locally). They make great gifts for so many occasions.
